What are the mobile.de dealer prices?
mobile.de dealer prices are the monthly fees that car dealerships and used-car dealers pay for vehicle listings and additional features on mobile.de. They depend on the package, the number of listings and the average value of your inventory.
Since October 4, 2023, the packages have been called Bronze (formerly Kompakt), Silver (formerly Komfort), Gold (formerly Premium) and Platinum. Platinum was added at that time as a new, more expensive package. According to AUTOHAUS, existing dealers were automatically transferred to the new structure, with prices remaining stable.
Euro amounts still circulating online under the names Kompakt, Komfort or Premium date from before October 2023. The last published price list with euro amounts we could find applied from April 1, 2022. Since then, mobile.de has raised prices several times without the trade press publishing complete new lists.
How does mobile.de calculate the monthly costs for dealers?
Your monthly invoice at mobile.de consists of the package price for your volume tier, the price for each additional vehicle, a surcharge based on inventory value, and the additional services booked. The amounts for 2026 are not public, but the calculation logic is documented.
The components in detail:
- Package: The chosen package (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum) determines which features you get, such as the number of images, the displayable services, and the contact persons.
- Volume tier: The volume tier is a price level based on the number of your listings. In 2022, the tier for 11 to 15 vehicles cost, depending on the package, 389.99 to 649.99 € per month.
- Price per additional vehicle: For each listing beyond your tier, you pay an individual price. In 2022 that was 10.49 to 15.19 € per vehicle.
- Inventory-value surcharge: This is a percentage surcharge that depends on the average price of your listed vehicles. mobile.de introduced the surcharge in 2022 and rebuilt it in April 2025.
- Additional services: Bookable services such as the direct link to your own homepage cost extra. The price for the direct link rose in 2023 from 50 to 200 € per month.
Regarding the 2025 restructuring of the surcharge, kfz-betrieb writes: "This can result in additional costs." The new rates are not in the freely accessible part of the article. Only the 2022 values are public:
| Component (valid from April 1, 2022) | Value depending on package |
|---|---|
| 11 to 15 vehicles | 389.99 to 649.99 € per month |
| 51 to 70 listings | 829.99 to 1,234.99 € per month |
| Each additional vehicle | 10.49 to 15.19 € |
| Surcharge at average price 20,000 to 29,999 € | 5 percent |
| Surcharge from average price 50,000 € upward | 15 percent |
This table is only useful to understand the calculation logic. For your 2026 budgeting, the amounts are outdated, since there have been price rounds in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Which mobile.de package suits which dealers?
Based on public sources, mainly Gold and Platinum can be compared: Platinum, according to kfz-betrieb the new and more expensive package, offers more images, services and contact persons. Bronze is the successor to the former Kompakt package.
| Feature | Gold | Platinum |
|---|---|---|
| Images per listing | 30 | 50 |
| Displayable services | 25 | 29 |
| Contact persons | 5 | 10 |
With Platinum, the direct link to the homepage is included in the price. According to mobile.de, Platinum dealers appear "on the first two search results pages on average up to seven times more often" than Bronze dealers. This figure comes from mobile.de itself from 2023 and has not been independently verified.
Different points are important depending on the business:
- Dealers with only one vehicle in inventory are exempt from the 2026 price round.
- Businesses with multiple locations received a cross-location listing management in 2023 and a group portal for multiple mobile.de accounts in 2025.
- Dealers with expensive inventory are hit harder by the inventory-value surcharge. In 2022 it was 15 percent from an average price of 50,000 € upward, compared to 5 percent in the 20,000 to 29,999 € price range.
- mobile.de has offered two-year contracts to larger dealers and advertised them with "planning certainty."
In spring 2025, further dealer functions were added: an analytics overview with information on demand and days in stock, an AI-supported competitive analysis with sale probability, the indication of battery condition in percent, and individually configurable leasing rates. kfz-betrieb does not state prices for these.
What does mobile.de cost for dealers in 2026?
There are no publicly documented euro prices per package for 2026: the trade press does not state individual prices, and mobile.de's pages could not be accessed for this guide. It is documented that dealers with more than one vehicle have been paying at least 9.1 percent more since April 1, 2026.
According to kfz-betrieb, the increase affects almost all feature and volume packages: "All providers of more cars must pay at least 9.1 percent more." At the same time, mobile.de is cutting back the scope of features in some places and reducing the display of car listings on Kleinanzeigen.
Here is how dealer prices have developed in recent years:
| Date | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|
| April 1, 2022 | New pricing model with inventory-value surcharge | bike und business |
| October 4, 2023 | Four packages instead of three, prices stable, direct link 200 € instead of 50 € | kfz-betrieb |
| April 1, 2024 | About 20 percent more for inventories over 20 vehicles (excluding surcharges) | kfz-betrieb |
| April 2025 | Listings more expensive, inventory-value surcharge restructured | kfz-betrieb |
| April 1, 2026 | At least 9.1 percent more, less display on Kleinanzeigen | kfz-betrieb |
According to a dealer petition on openPetition, listing costs have been rising by 20% to 30% per year for years. For April 2026, the petition initiator cites increases of "up to 40%." These figures come from the petitioners, who have collected 91 signatures, and are unconfirmed.
Regarding the two-year contracts, kfz-betrieb reports minimal discounts, but also price increases. In doing so, mobile.de reveals "only the scope of one of the foreseeable price increases during the term"; the portal stays silent about a second one.
Currently not publicly documented:
- Euro prices per package and volume tier for 2026
- The price per additional vehicle for 2026
- The surcharge rates based on inventory value since April 2025
- The discount rates of the two-year contracts
- The starting prices per package mentioned in search results, which could not be verified on any of the pages accessed
How do you get more out of your mobile.de package this week?
First break down your invoice by line item and request a written quote. After that, it's about actually using the features you're paying for. The following five steps can be completed in one week:
- Put your mobile.de invoices from March and May 2026 side by side. Separate package, tier, price per additional vehicle, inventory-value surcharge, and additional services. This way you can see where the increase of at least 9.1 percent shows up for you.
- Request a written quote from your mobile.de contact person. Have them list tier prices, surcharge rates, and all increases planned during the term, since with the two-year contracts, according to kfz-betrieb, only one increase was quantified.
- Check your long-standing stock. Days in stock count the days a vehicle remains in inventory until sale, and each of these days costs listing fees. Our guide Standtage reduzieren: 7 Schritte für Gebrauchtwagenhändler shows how to counteract this.
- Use what your package includes. Make full use of the image slots (Gold 30, Platinum 50) and evaluate the days-in-stock information in the analytics overview. Our guide mobile.de-Qualitäts-Check: So erreichen Händler 100 % offers support.
- Link a video in the listing. A YouTube video shows the vehicle more vividly than photos alone. mobile.de-Video hochladen: So geht's für Autohändler explains how this works.
What mistakes do dealers make with mobile.de packages?
The most expensive mistakes arise from outdated figures and unchecked contracts. From the evaluated reports, these five risks emerge:
- Calculating with 2022 prices. The list from April 1, 2022 has been superseded by several price rounds; anyone planning with it sets their budget too low. Better: Calculate based on your current invoice and a written quote.
- Signing a two-year contract without knowing all increases. According to kfz-betrieb, mobile.de has only quantified one of the foreseeable increases; the second remains open. Better: Have all price steps for the term given to you in writing before signing.
- Overlooking the inventory-value surcharge. Since the restructuring in April 2025, additional costs can arise, for instance if you increasingly buy high-priced vehicles. Better: Ask for the current rates and check this item on every invoice.
- Firmly planning reach via Kleinanzeigen. Since mobile.de is cutting the display on Kleinanzeigen, your reach there decreases. Better: Build your own channels such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Leaving paid services unused. The direct link costs as an additional service 200 € per month and brings nothing without a well-maintained homepage. Better: Check every booked service once a quarter for its benefit.
What should dealers do now after the price increase?
First request your quote in writing and then decide on package and contract term based on your own figures. It is also worth showing every paid listing on channels you control yourself.
Your sales team doesn't have to take on this work. A21 Social uses AI to automatically create a short vertical video for each listing from your listing photos and vehicle data, and publishes it on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. You don't need to film or edit anything and don't need an agency.
Every video can be published on your YouTube channel, and you can insert the link directly into your mobile.de listing. This way, every vehicle for which you're paying listing fees anyway gets a video as soon as it goes online. The plans cost monthly Starter 29 €, Pro 79 € and Enterprise 149 €, each plus VAT.
You can read how often you should post in Instagram: Wie oft sollten Autohändler posten? Der Wochenplan. You'll find further video formats that don't require your own film crew in Autohaus-Reels: 14 Videoideen ohne Kamerateam.
How we verified this guide
In October 2026, we evaluated trade articles from kfz-betrieb, AUTOHAUS and bike und business, as well as a dealer petition on openPetition. mobile.de's pages could not be retrieved automatically, and the trade press does not state individual prices for 2026. We were therefore unable to verify the current euro prices per package and tier, the surcharge rates since 2025, the discounts of the two-year contracts, and the starting prices from search results. Every figure in this article is directly linked to its source.

What is the average-price surcharge at mobile.de?
The average-price surcharge is a percentage surcharge on listing costs. Its amount depends on the average value of your listed inventory. mobile.de introduced it in 2022; at that time, according to bike und business, it was 5 percent for an average price of 20,000 to 29,999 euros and 15 percent from 50,000 euros upward. In April 2025, mobile.de changed the structure; the current rates are not public.
What does mobile.de cost per vehicle for dealers?
Anyone listing more vehicles than covered by the booked volume tier pays an individual price for each additional vehicle. According to the last published price list, valid from April 1, 2022, it ranged between 10.49 and 15.19 euros depending on the package. Since then, prices have been increased in 2024, 2025 and 2026. The trade press does not state the current price per vehicle.
Can I cancel a mobile.de two-year contract as a dealer?
The trade reports do not state cancellation conditions for the two-year contracts; your contract text is decisive. According to kfz-betrieb, the contracts contain minimal discounts but also price increases, and mobile.de has only quantified one of the foreseeable increases. For legal questions about your contract, contact a lawyer or your association.
Can I switch my mobile.de dealer package or downgrade to a smaller package?
The trade reports we evaluated do not describe conditions for switching packages or downgrading to a smaller package. During the changeover in October 2023, existing dealers were automatically transferred to Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Ask mobile.de in writing about deadlines and prices for a switch and compare the answer with your contract.
Is there a public price list from mobile.de for dealers?
We did not find a current, publicly documented price list with euro amounts for 2026. The last published list applied from April 1, 2022 and still used the old package names Kompakt, Komfort and Premium. The starting prices per package that appear in search results could not be verified on any of the pages we accessed.
mobile.de or AutoScout24: which is cheaper for dealers?
The sources we evaluated contain no documented price comparison for 2026. For AutoScout24 we had no verified dealer prices available; for mobile.de only information on the increases, but no current euro amounts. Request a written quote from both portals for the same inventory size and compare the total monthly costs.
Are mobile.de dealer listings still displayed on Kleinanzeigen?
According to kfz-betrieb from March 19, 2026, mobile.de is reducing the display of car listings on the sister platform Kleinanzeigen as part of the April 2026 price round. How significant the reduction is and which packages it affects is not stated in the freely accessible part of the article. Therefore, no longer plan firmly on reach via Kleinanzeigen.
